Western Governors University Announces Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) Visit in October

SALT LAKE CITY (April 19, 2023) — Western Governors University (ĂŰĚŇTV) today announced the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) will conduct an accreditation visit at ĂŰĚŇTV from Oct. 25-27, 2023. ĂŰĚŇTV first earned accreditation from NWCCU in 2003 and has maintained this accreditation for 20 years.
The visit is part of the regular cycle for reaffirmation of accreditation conducted by the NWCCU, an independent and nonprofit membership organization. NWCCU is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the authority on educational quality and institutional effectiveness of higher education institutions in the Northwest region. The NWCCU team will meet with students, faculty, staff and board of trustee members to evaluate ĂŰĚŇTV's compliance with accreditation standards and policies.Ěý
