About the Grant
Thanks to support from Greater Texas Foundation, TV is able to provide scholarships, educational opportunities, and services for West Texans to pursue bachelor’s degrees. Increasing Postsecondary Attainment Rates in Rural West Texas – A Place Based Approach will fund program support and scholarships for residents in select counties of rural West Texas.
This grant was awarded to TV to support students living in one of the 23 rural West Texas counties with no or some college credit and who never earned a college degree. The scholarship opportunities associated with this grant are available to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree at TV.

*TV Academy serves a critical role in supporting individuals in their goal to expand their learning through higher education by providing a guaranteed pathway to starting their college education. TV Academy creates a way for all learners to move through obstacles to start their education by preparing them through skill development, education credit attainment, and psychological preparedness.

West Texas Trailblazers Scholarship
TV has partnered with the Greater Texas Foundation to offer theWest Texas Trailblazers Scholarship, valued at up to $5,000. This scholarship is exclusively available to new and current TV students who are residents in select* counties in Texas.

Rural West Texas Online Access Scholarship
TV is committed to increasing access to education and bridging the gap between talent and opportunity. The Online Access Scholarship will provide recipients with essential technology like laptops, hotspots, and webcams to pursue a degree online.
